About the role
We’re searching for an energetic Long-Term Insurance Sales Consultant with solid sales background in long- or short-term insurance.
In this role, you’ll be driving sales, building connections, and helping our clients get the cover they need. Being proficient in English and another South African like Afrikaans, Zulu, Xhosa is a must.
What you'll be doing
Your primary focus will be to drive sales of our Family Cover and Domestic cover products. Your duties will include:
- Developing and executing effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand the client base
- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities via your own networks and online platforms.
- Marketing the Simply product to your own leads and leads generated by Simply’s marketing team.
- Building lasting relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction, retention, and referrals.
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction to improve the customer value proposition
What we're looking for
Experience and qualifications
- Matric certificate
- RE5
- Minimum 2-years insurance sales experience
- Proven track record in meeting sales targets
- Contact centre experience is advantageous
Sales and tech skills
- Telephonic sales, cold calling
- Clear communication and writing
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Good fluency in English and another SA language

- Self-motivated, team player with integrity, professionalism, and a customer-focused approach.
Must Have
- Matric
- Completed/Completing FSCA recognized qualification in line with DOFA
- Minimum 2 years industry experience
- Track record of exceeding sales targets
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
