About the role
We’re searching for a passionate, tech-savvy, Long-Term Insurance Distribution Consultant looking to challenge the status quo and make a positive impact on brokers and their customers. Available full time and based either in Gauteng or the Western Cape.
In this role you will drive business growth by building and supporting a strong adviser network through relationship management, onboarding, training, and strategic partnership development.
What you'll be doing
Your primary focus will be to drive growth of the Simply brand and drive product sales. Your duties will include:
- Grow and maintain strong adviser relationships to drive business expansion.
- Leverage partnerships and manage stakeholders to achieve key objectives.
- Support intermediaries with sales tools like quotes and benefit statements.
- Identify and onboard new Financial Advisers to expand the network.
- Provide training and product support to enhance adviser success.
- Stay updated on industry trends to maintain a competitive edge.
What we're looking for
Experience and qualifications

Financial planning and or undergraduate degree / qualification
- RE5 and/or RE1 qualification
- 3+ years’ experience in long-term insurance as a Broker Consultant or IFA. This is flexible

Bilingual or multilingual proficiency is advantageous
Sales and tech skills
- Computer literate with CRM and MS Office proficiency
- Clear communication and writing
- Confidence in presenting
- Lead generation expertise, identify and mandate new brokerages as well as to attract, onboard, and support brokers
- Strong sales performance and relationship management
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
Work style
- Analytical thinking, strong organisational and time management skills
- Proactive, quick learner, adaptable and deadline-driven mindset
- Self-motivated, team player with integrity, professionalism, and a customer-focused approach
- Strong sense of urgency
- Willing to travel
- Valid driver’s license and own reliable transportation
Must Have
- A degree / FSCA recognized qualification
- RE5 and/or RE1
- Industry experience
- Proven sales and relationship management track record
- CRM and MS Office proficiency
- Based in Cape Town/Gauteng
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel
